Job Details
A new emergency department was built at University Hospital Limerick to help improve patient capacity and modernise the care environment at the hospital. With 3,850 square metres of floor space, this new facility is three times larger than before and is now regarded as one of the most modern emergency wards in Europe.
After considerable research and evaluation of the products available, Forbo flooring and SimplyClad wall cladding were chosen for installation. Not only are products chosen visually striking and easy to maintain, they also conform to current European hygiene standards, which is of vital importance for all healthcare installations.
SimplyClad standard was used in toilet and shower areas, whilst the three Forbo ranges were used in nearly all the areas of the new facility.
